I'm leaving today for a three week, 250 mile kayak expedition, tracing the southern coast of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. I will be kayaking with Dick Ryon, Jerry Leugers, and Dick Lampman. Our planned route goes from Homer, Alaska to Seward, Alaska. The Map above shows our approximate route. During the trip I will be using a "Spot II Satellite Messenger" which will allow me to call for rescue if needed but also send out a "track" that will show my location on google maps as I proceed through the expedition.
